Great place to make something for yourself or a gift for others. Lots of wood choices to work with, great stains and paints with each table having it's own paint accessories. They have tons of options for stencils and you can even call ahead to see if they can make specific ones for you to use. Instructions are easy and smocks are provided as well as gloves for staining. Located down from Hooters and next door to Lucy's place. Perfect place for girls night out, bachelor/bachelorette party, birthday parties, scouting, or just a mommy and me day.

I love this place. Dawn was everything. I love her personality. Not only were we running late. I forgot to send her one of the girls pictures. She didn't hesitate or think twice about getting her picture together for me. I would recommend this place. If you haven't checked it out. What are you waiting on?!?! Thanks again Dawn

We had a really great time a year ago when we went. We found some deal to do it online and went for a group girls team building time. Super friendly. Very accommodating to us being a bit slow as we figured out our designs with color. She even did custom designs ahead of time and smaller things on the fly. Most enjoyable. Only wish some of the supplies were in a little bit better shape (makeup foam applicators were getting old and tough/dried out).

Great quiet atmosphere that allows the creative juices flow. So many projects to choose from. Great bonding experience for all involved.

Great experience! A group of us went for our birthday celebration. Tim was helpful and very cool. The items we stained and painted turned out awesome! Will go again!

What a wonderful time we had at Hammer and Stain. More than just a DIY shop, they make it fun and exciting and at the end of the evening you get to take home a beautiful project. We're certainly going back for another evening of wood staining fun.
